Hedgewars is at least my tool of choice to teach my fellow students the true value of software freedom.
You can initiate your lessons locally or show off your didactic skills over the net. If you're alone you can even practice with bots - just promise not to show mercy.

Europe is about to vote about Net Neutrality very soon. Contact your representative and make him aware of your position on that. Voters in Brussels need some non-lobby input to vote right!
If you're living in Germany there is a blog that informs and advises, and even provides contact information for relevant people.
A free culture needs a free net.

February 2004 Joseph Pine gave a speech at TED drawing a picture of economic value evolving from commodities to experiences.
The equivalent in computing would probably start with the availability of hardware and certainly end with a gaming experience. Fortunately GNU is making good progress concerning the first steps but gaming experience in the GNU world obviously has less success.
