Cloud - then what?

Rumor has it that the web has no future - but it IS the future. The FSF likes to think about cloud computing as a "nexus of confusion". But Jon Phillips spends some serious thought about the freedom of our future environment in his last LGM talk and comes to another conclusion (despite critical voices):

The web as an operating system is starting to become reality so we better start working on a free version of it now!

Fortunately there isn't just the pressure on fighting for freedom, there is also the huge possibility to finally boost collaboration and integrate more people in common efforts.
