OSM logo proposal

I'm a big fan of the OpenStreetMap project but I cannot say the same about its current logo. Every time I see it I feel like the great project is misrepresented by a bloated and indistinct clipart. I know that there must be some people that got attached to the current logo (in form of mugs, t-shirts or pure nostalgia), and hope they can share the notion that a new logo is overdue.

I've been working quite some time on a logo relaunch that is flexible and fits any brand relaunch the community might consider in the far or near future.

Here it is!

As you see it uses a free OFL-licensed font to allow easy customization and integration into further material.
