What a game! I recently discovered Quantum - a free tactics game similar to Galcon.

But Quantum isn't as simple as Galcon. It offers a few more twists that enable you to use tactics like:

  • build "trees" to harvest resources on planets (costing you 10 creatures).
  • spawning creatures inherit the health/speed/attack values of their mother planets
  • it is free :)

Do not miss the short tutorial before you try - or you'll be lost! If you're into that stuff you really want to get some hints from Judebert. Unfortunately I only got it running via the Webstart link on the homepage.

...it reminds me a bit of Gridwars which is a completely different game but looks similar and is fun, too hint ;)
